todays illustrations both involve cats in some way. a cat girl movie star and a yetti playing cats cradle.
i’ve noticed that a lot of my illustrations involve at least one of three things : cats. bears. or yettis.
i’m ok with this.
today is my birthday, i’m 27 now. my god. i woke up, made myself a birthday ramos gin fizz, and drew this happy birthday cat.
i’m pretty pleased with how my last year of life went. i moved from new york to the netherlands. i welcomed the battleship potemkin puppy into our home. i made really good progress on my illustrations.
26 you were good. 27 lets be better!

it’s nice to have a quiet, close to home weekend every once and a while. this was ours.
it included. ramos gin fizzes – sunset picnics – bike rides – movies about space – bookstores – many walks – sangria – a concrete beach – sunshine – and puppies

so i’ve spent the better part of the day tweaking with my blog. sorry if you came to it while it was in one of its many stages of disrepair. but i think it is pretty much settled for now. there are a few new things! to the right you will see a link to my tumblr and my twitter ( i just started the twitter and i’m a little afraid of it). and then other things like a button that makes it easier to subscribe if you feel so inclined.
